Cathcart Tree Services is a family-owned Bendigo business established in 2021 by Sam Cathcart, who holds a Diploma of Arboriculture. The business has been working throughout Bendigo within the tree industry for over 15 years.

It provides services in Bendigo and Central Victoria to both residential and commercial clients. Cathcart Tree Services is fully insured with public liability cover of up to $20 million. Services include tree removal, tree pruning, hedging, emergency tree works, mulching and sales, and arborist reports.

In Bendigo, Cathcart Tree Services has built a strong reputation through consistently positive feedback from customers. Several reviewers describe the professionalism and punctuality of the team, noting that jobs are completed on time and with minimal disruption. Sam is frequently mentioned by name, with customers highlighting his kindness, patience and clear communication throughout the entire process, from the initial quote through to the finished work. More than one review highlights the quality of the results, whether it involves removing large trees such as Iron Bark and Manchurian Pear, pruning pencil pines, melaleucas and willows, or stump grinding and clearing leftover clippings.

Tidiness after the job is a recurring theme, with customers noting that all mess is cleaned up and gardens are left neat and tidy. Fair and competitive pricing is another point that comes up often, described as reasonable for the work carried out. The team handles tree management agreed upon in advance and completes tasks in a timely manner. Clients value the smooth process, the attention to detail and the friendly, professional service across residential tree work.
