Metropolitan Arborist

Metropolitan Arborist is a tree services and arborist business based in Mount Waverley, working across the Melbourne metropolitan area. The company has more than 15 years of experience in the tree care industry between Europe and Australia. Todd Quackenbush and Gabriel Jimenez are associated with Metropolitan Arborist.

Metropolitan Arborist is a Melbourne tree care operation whose reviews centre on the work of Federico, known to customers as Fed, and the consistent standard of his tree surgery across a range of domestic jobs. Reviews regularly refer to the quality of the finished result: Chinese elms cut back after years of growth, a 22 metre spotted gum trimmed and pruned, bamboo and ficus hedges restored, and trees removed where they sat too close to a house, along with the leftover stumps.

Attention to detail, care taken with the trees and a genuine passion for the work come through strongly in the accounts. A handful of customers describe a smooth process that ran from the first contact through the quote to completion of the job. Punctuality and reliability feature often, with crews arriving at the booked time and responding quickly to messages, while communication before and during the work is described as clear and easy.

Tidiness is a recurring theme, with sites left neat and fully cleaned up afterwards. Pricing is called fair and well judged for the scope of work. Federico himself is consistently described as friendly, polite and professional, and the same names and the same themes return across accounts spanning several years, pointing to a stable, well-regarded practice focused on pruning, hedging, removals and stump work for homeowners.
