Ocean Road Tree Services

Ocean Road Tree Services is a tree services and arborist company based in Torquay, Victoria. It is a husband-and-wife team, with Campbell Park as founder and lead arborist and Laura O'Connor as a consulting arborist holding an AQF Level 8 qualification. The company employs a crew of 5 to 7 tree care professionals and holds $20 million public liability insurance. It serves the Surf Coast, Bellarine Peninsula, Geelong, Golden Plains, Colac Otway, and Corangamite areas.

Services include tree removal, tree pruning, stump removal and grinding, hedge trimming, tree maintenance, and emergency tree removal, as well as arborist reports for the same regions. Clients include residential, councils and parks, schools and child care centres, real estate and body corporate, and developers. The company partners with Great Ocean Road Nursery, The Sands Torquay, and Ocean Road Landscaping, and works with Great Ocean Road Coast and Parks Authority (GORCAPA), BIG4 Holiday Parks in Aireys Inlet, and Ocean Grove Holiday Park.

It manages health and safety audits and clearances for Bellbrae Primary, Anglesea Primary, and Saint Therese Catholic Primary School, and executes precision vegetation clearance for Telstra phone towers and provides industrial-scale support for SRG Global. The company specialises in view clearance using expert pruning techniques, uses a modern fleet of high-capacity chipping and mulching equipment, and leaves standing forks or builds boxes from the tree's own timber for wildlife habitat.

Ocean Road Tree Services has built a strong reputation around Geelong and the Surf Coast for tree work that combines careful planning with a tidy finish. Customers repeatedly praise the communication that runs from the first site visit and quoting stage through to completion, with several noting that options were explained and advice offered before any cutting began.

The team, including Cam, Campbell, Tom and Albie, is described as punctual, polite and hardworking, and reviewers often mention that the yard or front garden was left neat once the debris was removed. Removals of large and tall trees in tight spaces feature prominently, alongside trimming, deadwooding and the clearing of invasive species, with timber sometimes stacked or set aside for firewood at the customer's request. Mulching crews are described as fast, and the mulch left behind has been used to top garden beds.

A recurring specialty is the creation of habitat hollows and bird habitats from retained or dead trees, work that customers describe as knowledgeable and caring. Stump grinding also appears among the completed jobs, and the process is described as efficient and stress free, with Cam, Campbell and Tom named most often in accounts of tricky removals and the habitat work that follows.
