Hummel did a superb job of removing dead branches threatening our awning and front yard. He was a happy chappy, likes a yarn!

Hummel has done several jobs for us, including clearing a powerline and pruning a large rhododendron and I have nothing but praise for his work. He is always on time for an appointment, takes the time to discuss and quote on alternatives ways of pruning and is knowledgeable about the consequences for the tree. He goes out of his way to be helpful. For example, he cut up the remains of a dead tree that he had cut down into suitable lengths for burning in our slow combustion stove. 5 years later : Our trees have gone on growing in the last 5 years, so I once again called on Hummel for more pruning. I’m pleased to say that we were again very happy with his work. He showed up promptly to quote on the job and his input was very helpful in determining what needed to be done. He and his crew man, Scott, arrived when they said that they would to do the work and worked as an efficient team to get the job done. Hummel cut up some of the larger branches into shorter lengths for burning in our slow combustion stove. He and Scott then cleaned up the mess, some of which I had made. When I protested that I could do that, Hummel said that he took pride in leaving the workplace clean. Thank you, Hummel and Scott.

We had a major limb fall off a liquid amber tree during the Christmas / New Year break. Despite being on leave, Hummel helped us out providing a quick (and reasonable) quote. His expertise was evident so we got him to fix a few other issues in the garden at the same time as a preventative measure. Very happy with the timeliness and quality of the service. We will be future customers when required!

Tree-mendous work. Hummel was prompt, efficient and got the job done on an 8m tree in a confined area with power lines, pergolas and smaller trees underneath making a tricky removal. He wasnt the cheapest but hes absolutely worth every cent.

Hummel recently did 1/2 day's work removing two medium sized ornamental trees and pruning and shaping three other trees in an established garden. He took time to discuss options and figure out how the work fitted with the garden structure. His knowledge of trees was good. The work was done efficiently and well. The price was competitive.

Hummel cut back our weeping cherry and a couple of Japanese maples for us. He turned up on time and was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. He cleaned up and removed all debris. We were very happy with the results. I highly recommend his services.

I had a dead tree and it needed to be removed. I found Hummel on google seach and called him as he worked close by. He is such an amazing arborist and a wonderful human being, with wicked sense of humour. Our communication was straightforward and he did such an outstanding job removing the tree. I have not had any experience with an arborist but they don't get any better than Hummel. Highly Recommended. Thank you Hummel, you have no idea how happy and relived I am. 🙏🏾
