Walton's Tree Care Service

Walton's Tree Care Service has operated in Wollongong for over 20 years and describes itself as 'a cut above the rest since 1975'. The company services residential and commercial clients, including strata management, real estate property management, government departments, schools and TAFE colleges. Its arborists are professionals with training and experience, and its staff includes qualified and experienced tree loppers.

Safe tree removal techniques are practised using experienced tree climbers and/or cherry pickers. All works are carried out in accordance with Australian Standards, WorkCover and Pruning of Amenity Trees AS4373 - 2007. The company holds public and product liability insurance with Brooklyn Underwriting Pty Ltd, and all workers are fully covered by workers' compensation insurance. It services the Illawarra region. Services include tree pruning, tree removals, stump removals, and storm and insurance work.

Arborist work around Wollongong has been handled by this crew for repeat clients over many years, and the accounts left behind point to a consistent standard. Customers in several reviews describe crews arriving when agreed and completing substantial jobs, including a towering pine, a large palm and a twelve metre silky oak, far sooner than expected. Tidiness draws just as much praise, with debris cleared, cut material carted away and gardens shielded from harm during the work.

Terry is named repeatedly for his professionalism, kindness and readiness to help, notably the occasion a frightened kitten was retrieved from a fifteen metre tree. The wider team, Jess included, comes across as friendly and communicative, explaining each stage and offering practical advice while the job progresses. Quoting and follow-up are regularly called prompt and straightforward, and the price is seen as fair for the result delivered. Care for surrounding property runs through the feedback, as does a willingness to engage the same crew again for future tree work on the same sites.
