About the company

Arborcare is a locally owned and operated tree services and arborist business based in Currumbin Waters, Qld and Chinderah, NSW. It provides tree trimming, tree removal and arborist services to the Southern Gold Coast and Tweed Shire. The primary climber and qualified arborist has 10 years of experience in the arboriculture industry, having worked for a variety of companies across Queensland, New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

The team includes a qualified fauna spotter who inspects every tree before work starts. The fauna spotter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences and a Master of Environmental Science. All senior staff hold current First Aid certification. Arborcare has a full Safety Management System in place and conducts job safety analysis and risk assessments before every job. The business provides advice in accordance with Australian Standard 4373-2007 Pruning of Amenity Trees.

What customers say

Based on genuine customer reviews

Professionalism, punctuality and a spotless clean-up are the themes that run through the feedback for Arborcare, with Clay named again and again as the person who sets the tone. Several customers describe him arriving exactly when he said he would, whether for an initial quote or on the day the work was booked, and the reasonable nature of those quotes is a point that comes up often. The crew is described as courteous and respectful of the property, with reviews noting that branches hanging over a roofline were removed with skill and care, and that a sloping Elanora block was handled using flying foxes with real precision.

Tidiness is mentioned repeatedly: yards and gardens are said to be left cleaner than they were found, with one reviewer remarking on the effort taken to clear every trace of the job. The work itself covers tree trimming, stump clearing and careful pruning around gutters and fence lines, and the speed of response to calls and emails draws consistent praise. Clay is singled out for communication, value for money and a level of care that customers describe as rare, with his team matching that standard on tree trimming and stump clearing jobs.

Rang Clay to get a quote for palm tree removal and stump ground. Got a response same day and even offered to come and have a look on Sunday! Very impressive with how driven he was with his business. Got a quote same day as well. Compared to the other tree lopping companies I rang on the Gold Coast, his quote was the most competitive and reasonable. Did a very professional job and even rake the stump grinding evenly on the area so it looks neat. Very sad to see some companies inflated the cost of their services by nearly double. One company turned up to do a free assessment and quote and when I said I wil discuss this with family first, he got angry and said "then why am I here" - implying that I was wasting his time not giving him the job straight away. Thank you Arborcare for your excellent service - best in the area, best on the Gold Coast!

We just watched this team operate in our cul-de-sac and they were the most efficient and well organised outfit we have seen in 10 years. The terrain Elanora can be a 40% incline, they hooked up flying foxes and moved with precision, left everything clean and tidy. They took so much pride in what they did... so exceptional we had to post, as they worked on neighbouring properties
