Richmond Tree Specialists

Richmond Tree Specialists is a tree services and arboriculture company that has operated for over 15 years. Founder Callum has extensive training and experience from the UK, and the company's training standards originate from the UK. The company employs a fully qualified team of skilled arborists and has completed over 3000 projects.

It services all areas of Melbourne. Services include tree removal, pruning, stump grinding and emergency storm work. Tree removal uses controlled rigging around homes and tight-access sites. A free on-site consultation is offered, and full insurance documentation is provided for insurance claims.

Tree work across Melbourne’s inner south-east frequently brings Richmond Tree Specialists to properties where large specimens sit close to homes and fences. Callum, the arborist, is named repeatedly by reviewers as approachable and knowledgeable, and customers describe how clearly he set out the intended work before it began. The recurring theme across feedback is the pairing of skilled tree and stump removal with meticulous clean-up, with sites left neat and tidy once machinery and crews have gone. Reviewers often mention the care taken when trees stood near roofs and structures, noting that the house and its roof escaped damage despite the tight working space.

Tree pruning, including olive and magnolia work, and the removal of tall dead trees come up often, along with stump poisoning and follow-up maintenance. Customers describe quotes as reasonable and competitive, communication before and after the job as responsive, and the team’s punctuality and speed as dependable. Named crew members Andrew and Tom are praised alongside Callum for working efficiently together, being courteous and knowledgeable on site, and handling challenging removals with professionalism and attention to detail from first enquiry through to final clean-up and stump treatment.
