Southern Tree Care

Southern Tree Care is a tree services and arboriculture business operating in Wollongong, the Illawarra and the South Coast. Its service area crosses three councils: Wollongong City Council, Shellharbour City Council and Kiama Municipal Council. The business partners with David's Tree Lopping. Its main services include tree removal, tree lopping, pruning, stump removal and storm work. Green waste is chipped and taken away. Hardwood left over from removals is sold as seasoned firewood through winter.

Southern Tree Care earns consistent praise from customers for tree removal and pruning work carried out with evident expertise. Several reviewers describe the crew as knowledgeable and professional, arriving when arranged and getting straight into the job without fuss. Clear quotes and fair pricing recur across the feedback, with customers noting that estimates were accurate and reasonable given the scale of the work, including large coral trees, mature gums and a three-storey palm. Communication before and after the job is highlighted repeatedly, from the initial quote through to advice offered on protecting remaining trees.

Tidiness matters to these reviewers: yards are described as raked clean, with debris removed and no mess left behind. The team's respect for property during removal is mentioned, along with the friendly manner of those on site. Jobs ranging from single tree felling to multiple removals and pruning are handled efficiently, and customers note that even substantial trees were dealt with smoothly. The emphasis throughout falls on reliable scheduling, considerate treatment of the site and practical guidance for the future.
