Taking Care of Trees

I was very impressed with Taking Care of Trees. They were extremely professional and punctual. The crew were very fast and efficient taking the tree down. They were very flexible to work with my neighbour around their availability to clean up their yard. I imagined taking the tree down would be a nightmare, but they made it so easy and left mine and my neighbours yard spotless. I can’t recommend them highly enough. They were recommended to me by another arborist who said the job was a bit too big for him. So they are clearly respected within the industry.

Superb work, 1st-rate know-how & advice. Archie, Tom and Phil just left after giving our garden a new lease on life and preparing for work to come. 7 trees, each needing tailored attention, were pruned. Decades-old honeysuckle and jasmine grown over a latticed pergola were removed without so much as nicking the wood, leaving surfaces clear and ready for painting. (The jasmine will regrow.) We received excellent advice not only about future planting but dealing with a brush-tail possum. Could not be happier! I keep coming back because TCT is always 5-star.

We were extremely happy with the service from start to finish, from the initial quote experience to the pruning of our large tree. Jevan, Phil and Javier were expert aborists who possessed obvious passion for trees and their craft. They effectively consulted with me and explained the process. They loved our tree! And took great care with the pruning process. Moreover, our yard, and our neighbour's yard were left clean and tidy at the end of the process. I thought my job of taking down two very tall Australian Frangipanis which overhung a pergola, roof with solar panels and a lattice fence next door was fraught with problems and risk of damage. Conner, Peter and Claudio made it all look so easy. No damage, courteous and professional and the site was left very neat and tidy with all branches, leaves etc removed. Frankly I was greatly relieved and cannot speak too highly of Taking Care of Trees service from beginning to end. Excellent

TCT was contracted by City of Holdfast Bay to install about 25m of root barrier along our fence line. They used a water jet to dig a narrow trench exposing and cutting many large sized roots invading the property. Chris did an excellent job, he was friendly, professional and communicated well. Minimal disturbance, good clean-up.
