Thomas Arboriculture

Thomas Arboriculture is a family owned and operated tree services and arboriculture business based in Cairns. It serves the Far North Queensland region, including Mareeba, Port Douglas, Malanda, Babinda, Innisfail, Mossman and the Atherton Tablelands. All employees hold certifications in Arboriculture. The business meets the industry standard AS 4373-2007 Pruning of amenity trees.

It is covered by multiple insurances, including public liability and work cover. Services include arboricultural reports, tree safety inspections, palm and coconut deseeding, ongoing maintenance, land abatement, stump grinding, cyclone and storm clean up, evacuation and earth works, mulching and tree removal.

Thomas Arboriculture earns consistent praise for tree removal and trimming carried out across Cairns and the surrounding district, with reviewers repeatedly describing jobs completed neatly and without collateral damage. Several customers recall large palms and dead trees taken down in confined suburban yards, noting that surrounding gardens and structures escaped harm and that sites were left immaculate, with all green waste removed.

Bradley is named often, and accounts credit him with quick quotes, prompt replies and the ability to handle awkward situations, including a fallen tree caught in the canopy of others near a house and, on another occasion, locating a concealed water leak while removing a golden cane. Punctuality, politeness and an obliging manner come through strongly, as does the sense that the work was completed without straining the household budget.

Reviewers describe advice given about regrowth, one noting a soft mahogany that returned exactly as predicted, and describe operators as skilled and knowledgeable. The business also appears in listings for earth works, excavating and landscaping, and the feedback centres on arboricultural jobs. Something that features in review after review is the care taken in tight spaces, and trimming and removal of palms and mature trees remain the tasks most frequently mentioned.
