What customers say
Based on genuine customer reviews
Steve Cairns Tree Service covers tree trimming, palm removal and stump grinding for residential customers in Cairns. One account describes a prompt visit from Steve to provide a quote, after which his crew trimmed trees, removed a large palm and ground the stump, leaving the yard neat and tidy, and that customer was pleased enough to recommend the business.
Another account concerns access granted through a yard to cut and trim a neighbour's tree, where a cut branch was left hanging in the canopy, debris was scattered over the ground, and hydraulic fluid from equipment spread across the yard. The two experiences diverge mainly over how the site was left once the work finished, with the type of tree work itself not in question.

Highly recommend. Contacted Steve who promptly came out and gave a quote. His crew came out and did a great job of trimming trees, removing a large palm and stump grinding. Yard was left very neat and tidy.
Horrible service. My mother kindly aloud Steve's tree service to access her yard to cut & trim a neighbours tree as they couldn't access it from the neighbours yard who was paying for this service. They had zero care they left a branch that had been cut & was left hanging from the tree that could drop & create damage. They left debris scattered all over the yard & to make matters worse there equipment left hydraulic fluid that was scattered along the fecnce & concrete drain from obviously something breaking or a hose blowing & was not cleaned up properly. They gouged the lawm with there equipment broke a hose in getting the equipment out of her yard. No apologie from them just a trail of mess which took me 2hrs to clean up for my 91 year old mother. Not very professional at all.
