Ballarat Treeworks

Ballarat TreeWorks is a locally owned and operated tree services and arboriculture business that has traded for over 10 years. It services Ballarat and the greater Western Victoria region, and is fully insured. The business provides tree management services for both commercial and residential clients.

Services include tree pruning, tree felling, formative pruning, dead wooding, tree removal, tree weight reduction, mulch sales, an 18m travel tower, stump grinding, chipper hire, bush fire preparation, storm damage clean-ups, block clearing, emergency work, roadside trimming, cherry picker hire, tree climbing, tree planting and advice, and tree health care.

Ballarat homeowners repeatedly turn to Ballarat Treeworks for large-scale removals and precise pruning, and the feedback points to a consistent standard of care. Jake and Bruce are named often, with several customers describing them as friendly, courteous and hard working, and a number of reviews mention that communication stayed strong from the first enquiry through to completion. Jobs ranging from a massive storm-damaged gum and enormous pinus radiata to a five-metre cypress hedge running 47 metres along a boundary were handled with skill, and the crew took care to protect neighbouring gardens and properties.

Quotes are described as fair and reasonable, and the team is praised for arriving when promised. Advice on tree health stands out, particularly pruning that reduced weight and removed dead wood on a 110-year-old walnut while preserving its natural shape. Tidiness is a recurring theme, with mulched material and stumps removed and sites left clean. The same crew has even been called on to rescue a cat from a high branch, an effort customers clearly appreciated. Work often includes stump grinding, branch lifting, hedge removal and firewood, with strategic trimming and shaping noted as a particular strength.
