DJ Tree Services

DJ Tree Services is a family business and trusted arborist operating since 1986. The company specialises in commercial, council, and large-scale tree management, providing large-scale removals, land clearing, and arborist reporting for councils, developers, and commercial properties. It is fully insured with public liability insurance and holds council-approved arboriculture qualifications. Every job is supervised by AQF Level 3 arborists.

DJ Tree Services operates a fully compliant Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System aligned with Queensland's Work Health and Safety Act 2011. This system includes documented Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Plant Risk Assessments (PRAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), worker inductions, competency records, incident reporting, and ongoing safety reviews. The company serves Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Services include complex removal, health evaluation, hedge trimming, land clearing, and council maintenance.

Residential projects feature prominently among the work described, from removing large pines and palms to grinding multiple stumps and trimming branches overhanging a roof. Mark is the name that recurs most often, and customers describe him climbing trees directly rather than relying on heavier equipment, including one job completed to ground level within a couple of hours despite only wheelbarrow access. More than one review highlights punctual arrival and a quick, efficient approach, with jobs finished sooner than expected and yards left clean afterwards.

Dave and Martin also receive praise for being polite, respectful and clear in explaining the work without pressuring the customer. Competitive quotes given over the phone and economical pricing come up often, alongside the thoroughness of the clean-up: branches mulched, firewood cut, stumps ground and debris removed. Customers note the team's honesty and reliability, with repeat bookings and referrals to friends mentioned more than once. Domestic tree removal and stump grinding across Toowoomba, carried out by a crew that climbs rather than machines the timber down, is the work these accounts return to.
