The Tree Company

The Tree Company is a tree services and arboriculture provider based in Melbourne with over 20 years of experience in the industry. It operates from three depots in Surrey Hills, Preston and Flemington. The company specialises in large scale tree management, including pruning, bracing and preservation, plant health care and tree cutting.

It provides residential and commercial tree services. The company holds $20M public liability insurance. Services include tree removal, pruning, preservation, planting, maintenance, transplanting, habitat creation and nest box installation.

Building managers, homeowners and residents of shared properties in Melbourne form much of the clientele for The Tree Company, and their accounts describe a well-run operation from the first enquiry through to completion. Inspections and quotes are a recurring theme: the arborist examines tree health, advises on what is required, and revises the scope when extra work emerges, with the adjusted figures accepted without fuss.

Questions raised beforehand are answered promptly by phone or email, and crews arrive when arranged. The work itself covers removal of mature hedges, palms and a large liquid ambar growing close to a house and fence, along with clearing trees and creepers along shared boundaries and walkways. Team members including Denham and Matt are named for their knowledge and courtesy, and the crews are repeatedly described as respectful and hard-working.

Reviewers highlight the protection extended to gardens, sculptures and neighbouring property during operations. Clean-up after completion earns frequent mention, with stumps ground out and no mess remaining, and the pricing quoted is regarded as fair for the effort involved. A cypress hedge and palms that were removed left the garden looking restored, with one struggling tree later making a strong recovery once the problem was treated.
