Total Tree Services

Total Tree Services is a tree services and arborist business founded by Jamie Nairn and operating since 2002. Jamie Nairn is a qualified arborist who completed formal studies at TAFE Qld South West in Horticulture and Arboriculture and previously worked as Senior Tree Surgeon with Toowoomba City Council. He is a co-owner with his wife Dr Renee Nairn PhD, who has completed tertiary studies in science majoring in Biology. Total Tree Services is a member of the Queensland Arboricultural Association.

Jamie Nairn holds qualifications in Horticulture and Arboriculture and additional 20 tickets, accreditations and licences in machinery and heavy vehicle usage, high-risk work, quality, safety and risk management. All employees are trained and qualified in the full range of work undertaken by the business. Total Tree Services is locally owned and operated and fully insured. It serves clients in the Toowoomba region, across the Darling Downs, rural and regional Queensland, and the eastern states of Australia. It provides tree lopping, pruning, removal, and stump grinding services.

Tree removal, lopping, stump grinding, deadwooding, trimming and mulching form the core of the work described by customers of Total Tree Services, whose jobs have ranged from a single camphor laurel or gum tree to several trees taken out at once. Reviews time and again mention that quotes come in lower than expected and compare favourably with what other local operators had offered, and that the price quoted is the price honoured. Punctuality and reliability recur as strengths: calls are returned, appointments are kept and jobs are finished quickly, with one customer noting the work was completed well ahead of the expected timeframe.

Named team members Jamie, Renee and Hamish are singled out for friendly, courteous and professional conduct, whether on the telephone or on site, and for showing consideration to neighbours and surrounding property. Tidiness is a common thread, with sites left clean and careful attention paid to avoiding damage to gardens and structures. Several accounts describe safety-conscious crews who explain the planned work before starting and resolve any miscommunication promptly. Advice on follow-up maintenance, including deadwooding and trimming of large established trees, is appreciated, as is the range of mulch and firewood the business supplies.
