Tree Removal Hobart

Tree Removal Hobart is a tree services and arborist business run by a small Hobart arborist crew. The company is based in Hobart and serves Hobart and surrounding suburbs, including Sandy Bay, Battery Point, North Hobart, West Hobart, New Town, Lenah Valley, South Hobart, Mount Stuart, Glebe, and Taroona. It employs qualified arborists and is insured for tree work on residential and commercial blocks. Main services include tree removal, emergency tree services, stump grinding, tree pruning, land clearing, mulching and wood chipping, and arborist reports. The company provides written quotes, itemised and with no obligation, and offers same-day quote replies.

It handles heritage elm work in North Hobart with sterilised cuts to slow Dutch elm disease spread, and uses narrow gate machines for terraced sections in Battery Point and Glebe. Arborist reports are provided for council, insurance claims, or neighbour disputes, drafted with a consulting arborist when a signed opinion is needed. The process includes an on-site walkthrough to check the drop zone, rigging anchors, and anything that changes the plan. Itemised written quotes are broken into line items for climb, rigging, chipping, stump, and cleanup costs. Where a tree is close to anything that matters, sectional dismantles with controlled rigging are used.

Stumps are ground below ground level and the site is cleaned, including raking the drop zone and blowing paths clean. Round-the-clock storm and emergency callouts are provided, with same-day attendance across Hobart and Tasmania. For storm and emergency tree work, the company stabilises trees first, documents for insurers, then schedules full removal. The company does not cut around energised power lines and advises calling TasNetworks to make the network safe. Redirects and ground anchors are used to keep limbs off roofs on steep hillside blocks, and small footprint gear is brought for narrow heritage access areas like Battery Point cottages, Glebe terraces, and older parts of North Hobart.

Properties that had been left untended for months were brought back into order by Tree Removal Hobart, according to two accounts of garden clean up work. Both describe a professional and courteous crew with obvious experience, trimming damaged branches, removing fallen limbs and leaving the grounds neat and well-maintained.

The clean up is the service named in each instance, and the work was reportedly completed quickly and without difficulty, turning a long-neglected mess into a tidy garden. Courteous conduct features in both accounts, and one customer states an intention to call on the team again for further garden work.
